Rod Stewart fans hoping to see the legendary singer at the Minnesota State Fair later this summer were dealt some bad news on Thursday when Stewart announced the cancellation of four weeks worth of shows- including the Great Minnesota Get-Together gig scheduled for September 1st. sirrodstewart via Instagram:Following further medical evaluation, Sir Rod Stewart has successfully undergone a routine coronary stent procedure. Doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Rod is doing very well and has returned to his normal daily activities. The State Fair says that ticket sales for the show have been suspended and refunds will be issued. Tickets purchased with a credit card will be automatically refunded to the card, tickets purchased with checks/cash should be returned via mail and the Fair reminds ticketholders that they cannot assist with tickets purchased through a third party.
