For the fourth straight day, the Chicago area is under a threat for severe weather.
Storms developing in Iowa will once again cross into northern Illinois Wednesday, bringing the threat for severe weather and "swaths of damaging winds," forecasters said.
The bowing line of the storms threatens to once again bring damaging straight line winds, though Jeanes noted this round "doesn't look as intense as yesterday."
It usually produces destruction similar to a tornado, but it characterized by straight line winds, rather than rotation.
Wednesday's storms look to be the last chance for severe weather this week.
