A spokesman for Bahawalpur Police said the operation was carried out under the supervision of the SDPO City Circle Bahawalpur and the SHO Cantt Police Station. “Using professional investigative techniques, modern technology, and effective policing methods, officers traced and arrested the suspect within a few hours of the incident,” he said. During the operation, police recovered the Rs1.9 million allegedly stolen in the theft. The recovered cash will be returned to its rightful owner after completion of the necessary legal formalities, the police spokesman said, adding that the affected citizen thanked Bahawalpur Police for their prompt response, the arrest of the suspect, and the recovery of the stolen money, while appreciating the force's performance.
