ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Nearly 200 bags of fresh vegetables were distributed free of charge among poor and deserving residents at Fawara Chowk, Hazro on Wednesday under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Hazro Dr Imran Rafiq, officials said. The free vegetable distribution was organised at Fawara Chowk, where a large number of deserving residents received vegetable bags without charge. Officials said the initiative would continue once a week every Wednesday at Fawara Chowk, providing free vegetables to deserving people of Hazro tehsil. Prominent local figures, including Haji Nasir Arain, along with other community representatives, were present on the occasion. The organisers said the initiative was intended to provide direct relief to vulnerable segments of society and help ease the financial burden on families struggling to meet their daily food requirements./APP/RHN
