Karan Singh and Sherjin Shanthimol clinched gold medals for India in the senior men’s events last night. Trailing 7-11, Karan fought back strongly to win the bout 15-12 and claim the gold medal. Prachi Lohan added a bronze medal to India’s tally, sharing the third position with Australia’s Harrison Asley. In the individual Sabre event, Indian women won three medals. Aakhari secured the silver medal, finishing behind England’s Brierley, while Shruti Joshi and Jefarlin won bronze medals.
