A 21- year-old man, Dayo Afolabi was on Wednesday brought before an Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court in Isabo for allegedly stealing cash and valuables worth N1.8 million. Olu-Balogun alleged that Afolabi broke into the houses of the complainants, Mr Kareem Shefiu and Mrs Adedini Funmilayo with intent to commit felony. He further said that Afolabi stole one aluminum door and frame valued at N60,000 belonging to Shefiu. Olu-Balogun alleged that the defendant also stole cash and valuables worth N1.7 million belonging to Adedini. According to Olu-Balogun, the defendant was apprehended by vigilante operatives on duty and was subsequently handed over to the police.
