Cindy WhiteWe’ve been dealing with wildfire smoke for weeks now, but things have been especially bad in parts of the Okanagan in recent days. The smoke pushed air quality readings into extreme territory in parts of the Central Okanagan. ​Some of the symptoms of exposure to wildfire smoke can include mild irritation of the eyes, nose and throat, headaches and a runny nose. ​To track of the smoke, firesmoke.ca is a good resource, as is Environment Canada’s Air Quality Health Index.
