UK to watch best solar eclipse since 1999 as Barrow recalls 100 years of sky gazing

It is a particularly special occurrenc, as the UK will not see another total solar eclipse until 2090.
On April 8, 1921, The Mail reported: "Much sky-gazing in Barrow this morning.
On January 14, 1926, the paper, then known as the North-Western Daily Mail, reported on a British Government eclipse expedition.
