Its restoration coincides with 160 years of printing at the site and 40 years since Robert Smail’s was rescued by the National Trust for Scotland. All six presses at the historic works are now producing stock for the stationer’s shop and fulfilling bespoke orders. That’s exactly what visitors can experience at Robert Smail’s Printing Works.
