Suffolk Constabulary was called at 6.02pm to the A143 near the junction with Lion Road, near Palgrave. Two cars were involved in a crash, with eyewitnesses reporting that one of the vehicles appeared to have ended up in a hedge and the other had suffered significant damage to its bumper and lost a wheel. A spokesman for the force said that one person was taken to hospital following the incident. The road was partially blocked until 8.15pm.
