Station shop and tourist information office undergoes makeover

Located at Lowestoft railway station, the upgraded facility has marked its sixth year in operation with a new look featuring an expanded and improved space that offers more room for printed guides and new displays.

Image: Lowestoft Central Project (Image: Lowestoft Central Project)The site is managed by the Lowestoft Central Project in partnership with the Wherry Lines Community Rail Partnership and handles about 10,000 tourist enquiries each year.
The shop stocks guides, souvenirs, drinks and snacks, and is managed by a small team of volunteers as it opens Monday to Saturday from 10.30am to 4pm.
Donations of railway and local history books are welcomed to support the shop.
