Woodley Town Council have thanked everyone who joined them on Saturday, August 8, at Woodford Park. It is only the third time the council have organised the Picnic in the Park event, and the council praised visitors for creating "such a brilliant community atmosphere". The council also thanked "everyone who helped make the day possible", from performers to suppliers, volunteers, and the event team.
