A 60-year-old man has been refused bail after being charged over an alleged antisemitic website containing prohibited Nazi symbols and violent extremist material.
Police allege the man created a website containing antisemitic articles, prohibited Nazi imagery and a video depicting extremist violence.
Prohibited Nazi symbols include the Nazi Hakenkreuz, the Nazi double-sig rune and imagery closely resembling either symbol.
For the purposes of the offence, violent extremist material must describe, depict, support or provide instructions concerning serious violence.
The man appeared before the NSW Bail Division Court on Tuesday and was formally refused bail.
