The event will be held at St Bartholomew's on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 6.30pm. The Thornbury Town Band will accompany the evening's activities. Thornbury has a long association with brass bands, with the first recorded band being the Thornbury Baptist Church Band, set up in 1903. The current Thornbury Town Band was formed in 1980 as a junior band for the Thornbury Band. The band has continued to work in the local community, performing at fetes, carnivals, and church functions to aid local causes.
