A new survey has revealed that 34 per cent of adults in Yorkshire find choosing an evening meal stressful, with 20 per cent admitting to weekly clashes with others in their household over what to eat.
Lack of ideas was cited as the main reason for dinner-time stress by 35 per cent of respondents, followed by the effort involved in cooking.
Jeremy Gibson, marketing director at Princes Group, said: "By the time dinner comes around, many households have already spent the day making decisions.
"Add different tastes, tiredness, and a lack of inspiration, and ‘what’s for dinner?’
Meanwhile, food brand Napolina has launched a new range of Pasta Stir Ins, designed for quick and easy weeknight meals with minimal preparation.
