Salisbury dog walker recreates Henry VIII's court with canine cast

Salisbury dog walker Ema Lovell spent nearly two years creating the Henry VIII-themed charity calendar, featuring 16 dogs dressed as Tudor figures in handmade costumes.
"Everything that the dogs are wearing, down to their gable headwear, jewelry, and stoles, I’ve made by hand."
Miniature dachshund Louis plays the executioner, while rescued dog Vali plays Catherine Parr.

The project was delayed after three dogs, including the one portraying Henry VIII, died last year; the calendar now honours them.
