West Lothian firm John Heaney (Electrical) has brought in two new apprentices as it continues to give young people opportunities to carve out a career in the industry. “It’s important that as a company, we do what we can to give young people a help onto the first step of the employment ladder. “JHE are well known in the area for being a good business to work for and I’m delighted to have this opportunity. It was enjoyable but when I got this opportunity, it was something I could really see myself doing as a career,” he said. “It’s exciting to be here and I’m really looking forward to learning as much as I can.
