Bowles succumbed to his injuries at Gritman Medical Center after his Kia Rio collided with a Honda Accord on U.S. Highway 95 near Viola. A 19-year-old Palouse woman driving the Honda was also taken to the hospital. Bowles was heading north when his car “crossed left of center and collided head on” with the Honda that was heading south, according to an Idaho State Police news release.
