South African musician Danny K has spoken publicly for the first time about the death of his wife, Lisa Koppel, who passed away at the age of 41 following a private battle with colorectal cancer. Alongside the images, Danny opened up about the devastating journey his family had faced since Lisa was diagnosed in November 2023. Danny described Lisa as the wife he worshipped, while their three children have lost what he called an extraordinary mother. I have lost the wife I worshipped, our three children have lost an extraordinary mother, and her family and friends have lost someone they deeply loved.” Most importantly, he wants Lisa to be remembered for far more than the illness that took her life.
