The changes will affect drivers near The Ferns Primary School, Farnworth, from September, with access restrictions brought in during the busiest parts of the school day. These restrictions make it safer for children to walk, cycle or scoot to school, reduce congestion and improve air quality. Schools also in the scheme include Kearsley West Primary School, St. Bedes Academy, Sharples Primary School, and The Gates Primary School.
