There is still time for Bolton residents to enter a competition celebrating the people who are making their gardens, yards, balconies and community spaces more wildlife-friendly. Bolton Lever Rotary Club’s Wildlife Friendly Garden Competition is open to residents across BL1 to BL7, with entries closing on August 16. With many homes having little or no garden space, these small contributions can add up to create wildlife corridors across the town. The competition is about celebrating the practical things Bolton residents are doing to give nature a helping hand. And if residents across Bolton all do their bit, the combined effect could transform our town.
