The disturbances were reported around Dinsdale Drive, off Lanchester Drive, and Quebec Street, close to the Quebec Playing Fields in Deane, on the evening of Sunday, August 9. "Some residents reported two men drinking alcohol were fighting, during this altercation a red car parked in the residing area had the back windscreen smashed. Mr Adia said that there was a quick police response to the reported incident and that neighbours in the area have been cooperating with their inquiries. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed that they are currently investigating suspected criminal damage in connection with the incident on Dinsdale Drive.
