More than 50 pupils from Pembrokeshire’s Ysgol Waldo Williams attended the Eisteddfod y Garreg Las festival, where they took part in activities celebrating Welsh language and heritage through a range of immersive, real-life experiences. Headteacher Alan Davies said: "At Ysgol Waldo Williams, we are committed to providing meaningful opportunities for our pupils to experience Welsh beyond the classroom. "As Welsh learners, experiences such as Eisteddfod y Garreg Las are invaluable, allowing our children to hear, use and appreciate Welsh as a living language in authentic situations. Ysgol Waldo Williams expressed gratitude to everyone involved in organising the Eisteddfod and making the pupils feel so welcome. Teacher Lucy Schmidt, who organised the visit, said: "One of our key aims was for pupils to experience Welsh as a living language.
