Redberth Croft Community Farm has started The Rose Appeal to raise £3,000 for surgery and rehabilitation for a four-year-old thoroughbred mare with a club foot.
Daisy Coleman, founder of Redberth Croft, said: "Two years ago Redberth Croft began with one simple belief: that people and animals should be valued for what they can become, not defined by the challenges they've faced.
"We often say that our rescue animals save people just as much as people save them.
Redberth Croft CIC, a veteran and lived experience-led community project, recently marked its second anniversary.
As part of the appeal, Redberth Croft is offering the chance for a supporter to choose Rose’s official registered name in exchange for a significant donation.
