Finn Bevan, from Builth Wells, took centre stage at the Newbridge committee’s trotting racing event, held at the Cilmeri track. In the Novice Final, Blazing Eagle secured his seventh win of the season, elevating the horse to open racing. In the Non-Whip category, Bevan secured first place with World Famous, owned by his grandfather. The Baby Novice race saw Andrew Hardwick partner the Eggerton stable from Norton Canon’s Buster Bradie to victory. The next racing event is scheduled at Ivington, near Leominster, on Saturday, August 15, starting at 1.30pm.
