In what should be the final .NET 11 preview, Microsoft has enabled NativeAOT-CLI and MSBuild server by default, and added C# features. Microsoft has just launched the seventh preview of .NET 11. The update brings improvements for Libraries, Runtime, SDK, C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET MAUI, Entity Framework Core, F#, and Windows Forms. Microsoft recommends using Visual Studio 2026 Insiders or Visual Studio Code with the C# Dev Kit extension to target .NET 11 Preview 7. This should be the final release preview that Microsoft releases for .NET 11 before releasing two release candidates in September and October.
