Citizens Advice Wirral believes that volunteers from all backgrounds can make a big difference by using their skills and experience to help others. Mike, a retired electrical engineer who joined Citizens Advice Wirral after 53 years in his field, said: "I needed something different to keep my brain working. After retiring from education due to ill health, she joined Citizens Advice Wirral as a trainee volunteer in 2014. Through continued training and development, Karen climbed through several roles and became the organisation’s first volunteer advice team leader. Citizens Advice Wirral offers full training and ongoing support.
