The Board will formally ratify a State of Emergency declaration related to the Gann Fire, as requested by Sheriff Rachelle Whiting (Director of the Office of Emergency Services).
Meeting documents note, “Data Centers have the ability to strain local power grids, consume a significant amount of water for cooling purposes, and produce offensive noises.”
Also, there will be a vote on changing a county ordinance to increase the cannabis cultivation tax from 40% of the voter-approved rate to 50% of the voter-approved rate, through December of 2030.
