Man guilty of damaging ornaments and clock before returning to smash wing mirror

Thomas Fereday, 38, of Edmundsbury Road in Duffryn, was found guilty of two charges of criminal damage and one of failing to surrender to custody.
It was alleged that Fereday damaged ornaments, a clock, a wall, a lamp, and a pole on April 1.
Two days later, on April 3, he damaged a car wing mirror belonging to the same complainant.
The defendant was convicted of both offences of criminal damage at Newport Magistrates' Court on May 27.
Fereday was granted bail, and will return to Newport Magistrates' Court for sentencing on September 1.
