St David’s Hospice Care is inviting participants to walk barefoot over hot embers in a test of courage to raise funds for its work. The event is planned for October 22 at Tiny Rebel Brewery in Ropgerstone, with training beginning at 6pm. A spokesman for St David’s Hospice Care said: "Taking part in a fire walk isn’t just about bravery — it’s about making a real difference. "Every step you take helps support the compassionate care provided by St David’s Hospice Care to patients and their families across our community." Funds raised will help provide specialist nursing care, emotional and bereavement support, wellbeing services, and support for families when they need it most.
