The council, which manages parts of the National Trust-owned harbour which are classed as a village green, had previously tried laying railway sleepers to prevent parking, but people moved them aside before doing so. "Part of the village green is fenced off as there have been repairs done, due to damage caused by the general public. "This summer, our assistant harbour master has been present during peak periods, helping to support the safe operation of Brancaster Staithe Harbour.
