More than 700 residents have formally objected to a proposed scheme for Tollesbury, which would see up to 159 homes built on land north of West Street. The outline planning application also includes a new road linking West Street to North Road, with public open space, play areas, natural greenspace, and sustainable drainage systems. Ms Patel said: “I am working with the local community to fight back against these plans, and this planning application is the latest which will inflict huge harm on Tollesbury.
