Malvern Theatres will host a budget-friendly Film Day at its Festival Theatre on Sunday, August 23, offering screenings of Finding Nemo, Matilda the Musical, and The School of Rock for just £1 per person. The screenings are made possible thanks to funding from the British Film Institute (BFI) and replace the theatre’s usual outdoor film screening in Priory Park. Fred Moroni, CEO of Malvern Theatres, said: "We were delighted to receive funding from the BFI to host this special day." While the Festival Theatre is usually used for plays and musicals, this event offers a unique opportunity to experience cinema in one of Malvern Theatres’ most distinctive performance spaces.
