THE EASTERN Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) has lined up a series of community-centered outreach programs, cultural events, and military honors ahead of its upcoming anniversary celebration on Aug. 28. Supporting young cancer patientsAs part of its anniversary lineup, EastMinCom is hosting the 5th iteration of the Drive for Hope Charitable Golf Tournament on Aug. 21. Following the tournament, EastMinCom personnel will hold a gift-giving activity for young patients at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) on Aug. 24. Showcasing military talentOn Aug. 25, EastMinCom will open a special art exhibit featuring creative works produced by military personnel.
