Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) has made an abnormal load movement order which comes into force at midnight on Sunday, August 16, lasting until 11.59pm on Monday, August 17. The load is being transported from Stafford to the docks at Ellesmere Port. Previous loads using this route between Stafford and Ellesmere Port have weighed between 550 and 600 tonnes. The load will enter the borough at Holmes Chapel Road, A54, in Sproston, then proceed through Middlewich before turning off on to Road One in Winsford Industrial Estate. In then turns on to the A556, Chester Road in Davenham before getting back on to the A54 near Kelsall.
