Luke Fitchett, a pupil at Ridgeway School, achieved the feat at the MotoGP weekend at Silverstone. Luke's passion for motorcycle racing was evident early on, and he became British MiniGP 50 Champion in 2021. Luke races on a Honda NSF250R, a lightweight racing motorcycle capable of speeds over 140mph. The podium finish at Silverstone is a significant milestone for Luke in his quest to reach the MotoGP World Championship. He aims to compete in the Moto3 World Championship at 18, before progressing through Moto2 and eventually reaching the premier MotoGP class.
