Auctioneers from Sedgemoor Auction Centre took part in the fundraiser, travelling to Braemar, Preston, Edinburgh, Dundee and London using a mix of unusual transport. The event was organised in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and the Derek Mead Health Room, with the aim of funding more cancer screening days at Sedgemoor. "We are particularly focused on enabling them to put on further cancer screening days at Sedgemoor." Simon Havens, chair of Greenslade Taylor Hunt - which manages Sedgemoor Auction Centre, praised the effort. "The money raised for two charities is outstanding."
