A 70-year-old man was shot dead by a masked gunman who raided his home in Viambani Village, Ganze Sub-County, Kilifi County, on Tuesday night. According to police, the attacker first asked the deceased’s relative to identify the man before pointing the firearm at him and shooting him once in the mouth. The body was later moved to Kilifi County Referral Hospital Mortuary, where it is awaiting a postmortem examination. Meanwhile, police are investigating an incident where an un unidentified man believed to be about 40 years old was found dead in Mucheene Forest in Buuri East Sub-County, Meru County, on Tuesday evening. The scene was processed and documented before the body was moved to Meru Level V Hospital Mortuary, where it is awaiting a postmortem examination and identification.
