The issue was raised by Brittas soon after listed papers were laid on the table at the start of the day’s proceedings. He alleged that Dev had repeatedly referred to him as “lungiwala” during the Rajya Sabha proceedings on Monday. Rajya Sabha Chairman C P Radhakrishnan said members should avoid making remarks that could hurt the sentiments and feelings of fellow MPs.
