Drivers wanted to provide a lifeline for people needing medical care

Ottery Help Scheme provides community transport offering door-to-door journeys for people attending hospitals, GP surgeries and other healthcare appointments.
The charity currently has around 30 active volunteer drivers but says more are needed as demand for the service continues.
"Most importantly, the clients always say how much they value the service, and that makes me feel valued as a volunteer."
Ottery Help Scheme chief officer Teresa Pollard said: "Our volunteer drivers are at the heart of what we do.
