Luke Rawley, of Larch Grove, indicated no plea to intentionally causing or inciting a child under the age of 13 to engage in penetrative sexual activity when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court. He is also charged with three counts of making indecent images of a child and a further two counts of distributing indecent photographs of children. The charges state Rawley made 62 Category A indecent images, 63 Category B and a further 58 Category C images. The defendant is said to have distributed one category A image and four category C images. He will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 7.
