'My Jericho: The Botley Road Mess' event will take place on Tuesday, September 1 between 6 to 8pm and Lula's Ethiopian Restaurant. The invite says: "1st September was supposed to be the first day of 'freedom' with the Botley Road re-opened. The closure of Botley Road has face significant controversy and anger amongst residents. Network Rail then announced in 2024 there would be further delays, owing to the unforeseen "complexity" of the project, including the discovery of a Victorian arch beneath Botley Road close to the rail bridge.
