TV EMOM (Thames Valley Electronic Music Open Mic) will return to Banbury for its second event at Also Known As on Parsons Street. Taking place on September 6, from 6pm to 10pm, the free showcase will feature eight electronic artists from Banbury and beyond, with DJ sets from Banbury-native DJ, CLARA and immersive visual installations. James Stevenson, a local music educator and member of TV EMOM, said: "I’ve performed live music for over twenty years, and can honestly say performing at TV EMOM’s previous Banbury event changed my life. The collective aims to make electronic music accessible to all, providing emerging performers with a supportive stage and audiences with an opportunity to enjoy high-quality, unique music in a welcoming environment. Simon Prytherch, a founding member of TV EMOM, said: "We set up TV EMOM in January to support all of the grassroots electronic artists in the Banbury, Oxford and Reading areas.
