Pauline Sister Challenges Congregation to Rethink Geography, Governance amid Vocations Boom in Africa

The Daughters of St. Paul (Pauline Sisters) have witnessed a growing number of junior Sisters who travel to Rome to prepare for their final vows.
The last Daughter of St. Paul from Europe made her final vows with the 2026 group, leaving her formation house empty.
In an interview with ACI Africa, Sr. Rose, who just celebrated her 59th anniversary of entering the convent, said Africa has gradually become the anchor of the Paulines, and that the Congregation must now rethink its geography and governance.
“We have junior sisters, we have novices, postulants, and they come to Rome to prepare for final vows.
