The ratings are then recorded and certified by the Food Standards Agency. Each rating is based on how an establishment fares across food handling, the conditions of its facilities, and the systems in place to monitor food safety. The Cake Inn was praised online by the Public Protection Partnership (PPP) for achieving the high score.
