Buckler’s Forest in Crowthorne took home Site of the Year at the Land Trust’s 2026 Managing Partners Awards, standing out for its 42-hectare mix of habitats and community growing areas. Buckler’s Forest is managed by Bracknell Forest Council’s parks and countryside team on behalf of the Land Trust, offering a space where residents can learn, volunteer, and engage with nature. Cllr Guy Gillbe, Bracknell Forest Council’s cabinet member for planning, transport and countryside said: "We are delighted that Buckler's Forest has received this award. "Through their work managing wildlife habitats and supporting growing activities, they help residents connect with nature while protecting it for future generations." The recognition highlights successful collaboration between the council and the Land Trust.
