This year marks the 46th edition of Fairport's Cropredy Convention, a festival founded and hosted by the band which played their reunion gig in the Oxfordshire town, and repeated every year since. Fairport Convention has been playing with a revolving line up of talent since it first formed in 1967, and now with a host of awards, hits, albums and tours, comprises a solid group of musicians who return to rock the field in Cropredy each summer. With just one stage and limited ticket sales to keep it a 'right sized festival', the long-standing musical event becomes closer-knit each year.
