A LATE defeat to Leeds Rhinos hasn’t diminished Daryl Powell’s enthusiasm for what’s to come at Wakefield Trinity. “I don’t think there was too much between the teams,” he said after the derby, Wakefield’s first defeat in eight. “I just said to the boys that it’s not about tonight, it’s about what we do in September and October. But I don’t think we need to be downbeat about tonight – there’s a lot to be happy about. Leeds are a great team but if we play like we did in the first half, we’re a fair team to defend.
