She later spent 40 wonderful years building her life and community in Texas before making Florida her home for her final year. Throughout her life, Jacklynn brought energy, heart and dedication to everything she touched. And whenever a problem arose, she was always ready to call Royal, firmly believing there was nothing he couldn’t fix. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Meehan, and a son, Tristan Lea. Funeral services for Jacklynn were held Sunday, Aug. 9, at 3 p.m. in the Burns Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Perry with Elder Gary Blanton officiating.
