Approximately 1 million tons of CO₂ equivalent greenhouse gas emissions were reduced across SOCAR’s operations in Azerbaijan. The document defines the areas for reducing methane emissions, advancing electrification, deploying carbon capture technologies, improving energy efficiency, and expanding the use of renewable energy sources. SOCAR also issued $200 million in Green Bonds to support the financing of renewable energy projects. The SOCAR Group’s social expenditure amounted to 412 million manat ($242 million). The employee engagement rate stood at 84%, while the satisfaction rate was 78%.
